Who Is Ohio State Football's Finest Rookie?
Every elite club in the nation receives a large number of new players each season thanks to recruiting and the transfer site.
Since Ohio State is consistently one of the top teams in the nation, they attract a number of top new athletes each season.
Since none of them have yet participated in a game for their individual teams, it is difficult to rate who the best one is, but according to ESPN, former Syracuse safety Ja'Had Carter is Ohio State's top newcomer for 2023.
Carter had 35 stops (21 of them unassisted), three interceptions, and three passes defended for the Orange in 2022.
He recorded 65 total stops (52 of them solo), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, and three passes defended in 2020, which was his finest overall season.
This season, he's anticipated to be a ballhawk in the Buckeyes' backfield. They'll probably have one of the finest defences in the nation if he lives up to the hype.
