The Patriots Will Make A Decision On Mac Jones
Mac Jones will remain the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots in 2023.
Once the new league year begins in March, the Patriots won't be moving Jones, according to Tom Curran of NBCSports Boston.
"Absolutely, positively not. The would happen over Robert Kraft's dead body," Curran said.
As a result of his poor performance in 2022, Jones will likely be considered to start for the Pats in 2023. He had 14 scores and 11 picks in 2,997 yards of air yards at the end of the season.
Bailey Zappe, who made four appearances before Jones returned last season, will be his opponent.
After finishing 8-9 this season, the Patriots will be counting on Jones to help them return to the postseason. This squad has also failed to reach the postseason in two of the last three years since Tom Brady departed.
