Maryland's Head Coach Kevin Willard Applauds Hakim Hart

In the XFINITY Center on Saturday, Maryland defeated Penn State 74-68 to win their tenth straight conference home game.

With a 13-1 record at home this year, the Terrapins are currently 17-8 overall and 8-6 in the Big Ten.

Head coach Kevin Willard appreciated senior guard Hakim Hart for his contribution to the victory following the game.

 With 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists, Hart had a season-high performance.

"Hakim is a really good young man, I have a lot of confidence in him.” Willard said in his postgame press conference.

Jamir Young, a graduate guard, scored at least 10 points for the 11th straight game with 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
