Lendale White Shares Unsettling Health Disclosure
LenDale White, a former NFL great running back, recently made a startling admission on Monday.
With former Football stars Brandon Marshall, Adam "Pacman" Jones, and Marshawn Lynch on the "I am Athlete" show, White revealed that at the age of 34, he nearly lost his life.
Four years ago, White had a heart attack. "I had two stents injected into my heart because my LAD was blocked and I needed them to restore blood flow.
To go in there and be like, 'I got to squat now for fun,' it ain't -- you know. But when you want to save your life, yeah, I'mma squat all day."
White rose to fame at USC in just three years, breaking the school mark for rushing scores (52) before declaring for the 2006 NFL Draft.
Before ending his career, he played for the Tennessee Titans for four seasons.
