Layoffs at the Tom Brady, Michael Strahan Media Firm, Religion of Sports

Michael Strahan and Tom Brady started the production firm Religion of Sports in 2018. This network has faced better times, according to the most recent New York Times article.

According to reports, Religion of Sports is firing podcast workers and closing its audio division.

According to podcast strategist Eric Nuzum, the "dumb money era" is over for some businesses.

“The dumb money era is over,” Nuzum said. “People had been throwing money at things just to see if they could get in and scale up audience quickly, but now everyone’s being a little bit more conservative.”

Brady will be alright, which is fortunate. On Thursday, SiriusXM Radio made the announcement that a new multi-year agreement had been struck for his Let's Go! Podcast.

Not to mention, Brady will ultimately be featured in Fox Sports' NFL coverage.

Brady and FOX reportedly reached a 10-year, $375 million agreement in the off-season.
