Jatonne Sterling Was Killed In Shooting: New Details Emerge

Jatonne Sterling, a baseball player of Clark Atlanta, was shot and killed, it was revealed to the athletic world earlier on Thursday morning.

He was just 20 years old. "Our hearts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and teammates of our student Jatonne Sterling.

 Please keep his family and the entire CAU community in your prayers," the school said. 

The unfortunate killing took place less than a mile from Clark Atlanta University's campus, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

There weren't many details, but since the original report, more has been revealed. 

 New information about the altercation that resulted in Sterling's murder was made public by TMZ on Thursday night. 

Keontay Holliman-Peoples, 25, was detained by police as a suspect in the murder. 

We are praying for the Sterling family.
