Is Steve Saunders Been Fired?
Steve Saunders, a longtime strength and conditioning coach for the Baltimore Ravens, has been fired, the club revealed on Wednesday
Scott Elliott, a longtime associate strength and conditioning coach, has taken over Saunders' position.
Saunders recently completed his eighth season with the Ravens. In 2016, he moved to Baltimore to take up his position as the team's head of performance and rehabilitation. He was the performance head in 2017.
James Harrison, the 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, as well as other NFL, NHL, and MLB players, were trained by Saunders, the creator of the Power Train Sports Institute.
The last two seasons have seen the Ravens contend with significant medical problems
Despite Saunders' lengthy association with the Ravens, it is obvious that John Harbaugh and the club decided it was time for him to leave.
