Giannis' Wrist Is Injured For The Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo left the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night after only one possession in order to protect his injured right wrist.

The two-time MVP reportedly received a much-needed update on the injury on Monday. The Athletic and Stadium's Shams Charania said that additional tests today showed Antetokounmpo "avoided major harm."

Giannis suffered his initial wrist injury last Thursday during a victory over the Chicago Bulls. On Monday, he went through testing in New York City.

The seven-time All-Star made an intentional foul and was replaced for the remainder of Tuesday night's All-Star Game in Salt Lake City after laying the ball in to score the game's first two points.

After the game, according to ESPN, Antetokounmpo stated of his wrist, "Taking it day by day, try to get well." "Well, clearly, the incident happened three days ago.
