Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin Collab Again For One Disney Film

The friendship between Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin began on the set of the comedy 9 to 5 in 1980.

When Disney planned on reuniting Parton and Tomlin with an all-star voice cast for an animated feature that never appeared in the early 2000s, those fans almost had their opportunity.

Cook intended to write and film a movie titled A Few Good Ghosts, according to a video on the MsMojo YouTube channel.

The movie, which takes place in the 1940s, would tell the tale of a group of dolls who try to protect a young couple from competing families.

Parton and Tomlin remain close even though more than 40 years have passed since they initially collaborated. In their respective fields, both women have continued to be leaders and important figures.
