Derek Carr's Agent Wishes Best To Raiders

On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders finally cut off the bandages.

Raiders Waived Derek Carr prior to the 4 p.m. ET timeline, which means he will not receive guaranteed $40.4 million pay for the upcoming season.

In addition, the Raiders are freeing up almost $29 million in cap space.

 The plot was already set since he was benched for the Raiders' final two games of the 2022 season.

Since both parties were aware that a split was coming, he ultimately decided to sit out of those games.

The Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints are two teams that are believed to have been interested in Carr.
