Blockbuster Cowboys Receiver Trade

Amari Cooper was one of the explosive receivers that the Dallas Cowboys dealt last summer. CeeDee Lamb benefited from that deal by becoming the team's top option.

NFL.com has suggested a possible deal as a way for the Cowboys to acquire another star receiver this season.

Adam Rank of NFL.com has suggested a deal in which the Cowboys would acquire Mike Evans from the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Evans is a top target in the NFL thanks in large part to his dependability. Every season he played in the league, he went over the 1,000-yard barrier nine times in a row.

Dallas needs more ability at the wide spot, and Evans meets the bill for what the Cowboys are looking for at that position, according to Rank's justification for the possible trade.

Evans is a tall, strong receiver who can also make plays downfield at 6'5".

Dak Prescott, the QB for the Cowboys, had a breakthrough year in 2021 thanks to top receivers Cooper and Lamb

A talented player like Mike Evans would offer the Cowboys an opportunity to make a similar impact, perhaps leading them to their first deep postseason run in decades.
