Bowman dominated both rounds of times trials at the 2.5-mile Daytona Speedway after signing a contract deal that will keep him at No. 48 Ally Chevrolet until 2026. He then rocketed to his third Daytona 500 pole position.

The figures are startling, and not only Bowman's final-round qualifying speed of 181.686 mph, which bested teammate Kyle Larson's pole-winning speed in the 2022 NASCAR Next Gen Cup Series rookie season.
